An estimate from the inputs you set, not a promise of income. Inputs marked Example input are not from a published source.

How the calculator works

Newslettersubscribers ÷ 1,000 × price per 1,000 × sponsored issues
LinkedInposts × price
YouTubeviews ÷ 1,000 × RPM
Instagram and TikTokposts × price on each
Productssales × price, minus fees
Totalsum of all channels

The product fee is an example percentage here. Exact platform fees are in the digital product and course calculator.

One brand, several income streams

Most people who earn from a personal brand do it through several small streams rather than one big one. A newsletter sponsor, a LinkedIn post, a few brand deals and a template that sells quietly in the background. Seeing them side by side shows where your time pays most.

Every default here that is not marked as an example links to a published source. Newsletter sponsorship uses Book a Sponsor's 2026 median for lists under 5,000. LinkedIn uses Naano's completed bookings for 5,000 to 10,000 followers. Instagram and TikTok use what brands paid on Collabstr in 2025. YouTube RPM and product sales are examples, because no reliable public average exists.

Reading the bars

The bars under the total show each channel's share. If one bar dwarfs the rest, that channel is your engine and the others should feed it. A common pattern is social channels sending people to a newsletter, where sponsors, paid readers and products can all earn from the same person.

Use the benchmark page to check how your rates compare with others your size. If your LinkedIn price is far below Naano's median for your follower count, that is an easy raise to test.

Frequently asked questions

How much can a personal brand make?

It depends on audience size, niche and how many streams you run. With the defaults on this page across six streams the total is about $1,260 a month, and your real figure could be far higher or lower.

What is the best way to make money from a personal brand?

For many people a newsletter plus one social channel works well. Social brings reach, and the newsletter turns it into sponsors, paid readers and product sales.

Are these numbers guaranteed?

No. They are published medians, averages and examples. Your rates depend on your niche, audience and how you sell.

Where do the default rates come from?

Each sourced default links to its source on the page and in our Creator Benchmark Rates table.
